This no-prep gravity and our solar system lesson will help students understand the organization of our solar system and the importance of gravity. Students will learn about items found in our solar system, the difference between the terrestrial and gas giants, and two mnemonics to help students remember the planets in order from the sun (including the asteroid belt) and their sizes. The presentation also describes the basics of gravity and how it keeps objects in orbit.

Two pages of EDITABLE notes and an answer key are included, which can be helpful for students who need “clean copies” of notes.
